- Bachelor of Health Science / Master of Physiotherapy Practice (La Trobe University, 2015)
- Currently completing: Graduate Certificate of X-Ray Image Interpretation (Monash University)
- Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCA, 2020)
- Concussion Management Clinician (Complete Concussions, 2020)
- Certificate of Spinal Manual Therapy (Manual Concepts, 2018)
- Dry Needling Clinician (CPD Health Courses, 2016)

Currently, Tom is working full-time as a junior doctor with Barwon Health, having transitioned from physiotherapy to medicine over the previous 4 years. Despite a busy schedule, Tom continued to work as a physiotherapist throughout his medical studies and has committed to maintaining / improving his skills as a physiotherapist despite embarking on a new career. Tom is passionate about education and is working on creating education tools for junior clinicans to improve their care.

About

Having joined Move in early 2024 as part of a teaching / professional development role, Tom has recently commenced physiotherapy consultations!

Tom brings a wealth of experience to Move, combining a decade of clinical work in the musculoskeletal field with many years of tertiary education.

Outside of work, Tom can be found spending time with his family (including one toddler and two very demanding miniature Dachshunds) and participating in sport at a recreational / competitive level - including cricket, golf, football and tennis).
