Why strength training & bone loading?

​Osteoporosis & Osteopenia weaken bones, increasing the risk of fractures. Treatment for osteoporosis often requires the prescription of load-bearing exercise, strength and balance training. Our program focuses on strength training, balance & bone loading to apply controlled forces, encouraging your bones to rebuild and increase density, with the guidance of expert exercise physiologists and physiotherapists who will target training to your body and your needs to ensure it is safe and pain-free.

What to Expect

Led by Clinical Pilates-trained Physiotherapists & Accredited Exercise Physiologists 

 

  • 12 supervised strength and bone-building sessions (2 per week) 

  • MONDAY - 9.00am THURSDAYS - 9.30am

  • Learn how to bone load and strength train safely without injury Improve your balance, strength & fitness.

  • Increase your bone denisty.

  • Two expert education sessions by Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists

  • Gain access to our special offers to keep you on track!

6 WEEK PROGRAM

 

Bone Builder program includes:

  • 12 Small Group Exercise Sessions - Customised strength, balance & bone loading sessions: tailored to you

  • 2 Education Sessions - Dietian & EP

  • Private Health Rebates are applicable check with your provider.

  • Reduced Rate Re-Assessment - once the course is complete

  • Individualised Home Program

  • Access to our local app to help you stay on track

  • Individuals diagnosed with osteoporosis or osteopenia.

  • Those concerned about bone density.

  • Anyone looking to prevent bone loss.

  • People over 50, are menopausal, or peri-menopausal.

  • Those with a history of cancer/oncology treatment or high steroid use.

  • Anyone wanting to learn more about supporting bone health.

  • Anyone looking to strength train with supervision to learn how to deadlift, squat and strength train safely.

Course Dates : Commences October 28th for 6 weeks

Classes are 9.00 am Monday & 9.30 am Thursday.

Clients must have an initial assessment before commencing the class. 

Please note class packs are nonrefundable,  no shows will also be charged. 

 

​Classes may be  eligible for private health rebates - please check with your private health fund*

HICAPS codes utilised are Accredited Exercise Physiology EP502.

 

​Please get in contact if you are only to make one-time slot - we love to be flexible with your schedule.
